FORMATION
Many adverbs are made from an adjective + ly.
huge – hugely
social – socially
possible – possible ( le-ly)
easy – easily ( y- ily)
But adverbs do not always have this ending. These are also adverbs: well, fast, hard, late, just, always, often, then, never, ever, already, outside, inside, yesterday, today, tomorrow, soon, now, yet, still, sometimes, also, too, once, again, even, very, quite, a bit, a little, much, rather, enough.
USE
E.g. She always drives carefully
E.g. The film was extremely good.
You did it incredibly quickly.
- at the beginning of a sentence.
E.g. Normally I go to school by bus.
- close to the verb
E.g. I have always liked her
- at the end of a sentence
E.g. She did her homework very quickly.
